Educational Philosophy: The instructor uses lecturers, group work, quizzes, homework and exams as the different components of the learning process. Attendance and participation are expected and are essential to succeed in this class.

Late Submission of Course Materials:
There will be no make-ups allowed for quizzes and homework must be submitted on or prior to the assigned due date.
Make-up exams are at the discretion of the instructor. Students should notify me prior to the examination date to arrange a make-up exam due to work-related travel or death in the family. Other events will be considered on an individual basis.
Classroom Rules of Conduct: Be in class. Participate in class. Ask questions. Be prepared for class by reading the chapters to be covered in class prior to scheduled class time.
