The instructor's educational philosophy is one of interactive logical learning based on lectures, assignments, in class participation, and information provided from class & the web. Final Grade will be comprised as follows: 55% tests, 25% final exam and 20% participation/homework. Letter grades will be assigned on the 10-point scale: (A= 90-100)(B= 80-89)(C= 70-79)(D= 60-69)(F= 59 and below)
All final exams will be comprehensive and will be closed book and closed notes. If calculators are allowed, they will not be multifunctional electronic devices that include features such as: phones, cameras, instant messaging, pagers, and so forth. Electronic Computers will not be allowed on final exams unless the Associate Dean makes any exception.
