Educational Philosophy: My educational philosophy is one of interactiveness based on lectures, readings, dialogues, and examinations. I will engage each student in what is referred to as disputatious learning to encourage the lively exploration of ideas, issues, and contradictions.

Grading: Class participation will be worth 10 points.
Each exam will be worth 45 points.
Classroom Rules of Conduct: I expect all students to respect each other and the opinions of each other. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. I expect all students to read the chapters for the dates indicated in the schedule.
