The instructor's educational philosophy is one actively fostering student understanding through participation in classroom lectures, readings, quizzes, dialogs, examinations, Internet, video, websites, and writings. All students are encouraged to share their own personal views and experiences with respect to the topics being discussed.
Learning Outcomes: Core Learning Outcomes
All Park University courses must include a core assessment that measures the relevant Departmental Learning Outcomes. The purpose of this assessment is to determine if expectations have been met concerning mastery of learning outcomes across all instructional modalities. The core assessment for this course is a final exam which counts for 20% of the grade. Questions on the final exam will be developed to test at least eight of the ten course core objectives.
Link to Class RubricClass Assessment: There will be three exams and three projects assigned throughout the course. The exams will consist of true/false and multiple choice questions. The projects will consist of case scenarios assigned by the instructor.
Late Submission of Course Materials: Late projects will be assessed a 10 point penalty for each day it is late. After 5 days, the project will not be accepted.
